General Terms of Service

  1. Booking and Reservation Confirmation
    1. Room bookings can be made online via our website or by phone. All reservations are subject to availability.
    2. A booking is considered confirmed only after the receipt of a deposit, as specified at the time of booking. The deposit amount may vary based on the duration of the stay and the pricing policies in effect.
  2. Cancellation and Refund Policy
    1. If the client cancels a reservation shorter than 7 days:
      • For cancellations made 4 days or more before the scheduled arrival date, a full refund of the deposit will be issued.
      • For cancellations made 3 days or less before the scheduled arrival date, the deposit will not be refunded.
    2. If the client cancels a reservation of 7 days or more:
      • For cancellations made 8 days or more before the scheduled arrival date, a full refund of the deposit will be issued.
      • For cancellations made 7 days or less before the scheduled arrival date, the deposit will not be refunded.
    3. If the reservation is canceled by Mas des Druilles, a full refund of the deposit will be provided, and the client will be informed promptly.
  3. Rates and Payment
    1. Room rates are displayed on our website and are subject to change without notice. Rates are determined based on the number of nights, occupants, selected room, and season. The rates confirmed at the time of booking will be honored.
    2. The balance for the stay must be paid in full 3 days prior to arrival (7 days for stays of one week or more), unless otherwise stated during booking. Payments can be made via credit card, cash, or bank transfer, following the payment methods accepted by Mas des Druilles.
  4. City Tax
    1. Guests are required to pay a tourist tax, the amount of which is determined by the Alès Agglomeration.
    2. The tax is collected by Mas des Druilles and transferred to the designated local authority.
  5. Stay Conditions
    1. Each room is designed to accommodate a maximum number of guests, as specified at the time of booking. Exceeding this limit may result in additional fees or cancellation of the reservation without refund.
    2. Unless otherwise stated, check-in begins at 5:00 PM, and rooms must be vacated by 11:00 AM.
    3. Pets are not allowed in the guest rooms, in the breakfast and dining area, or around the pool.
    4. Pets are only permitted in the Mazet Suite. They must be kept on a leash within the property.
    5. Guests must adhere to the house rules, including quiet hours and other specific regulations applicable to the guesthouse.
  6. Client Responsibility
    1. Guests are responsible for any damages caused to the room and its contents during their stay. Any damages must be reported immediately to the operator. Clients are expected to have vacation rental insurance covering such risks.
    2. Guests must comply with local laws and regulations, including those regarding noise, safety, smoking, alcohol consumption, and hygiene.
  7. Limitation of Liability
    1. The operator cannot be held liable for any loss, damage, or injury incurred by guests during their stay.
  8. Miscellaneous Provisions
    1. These terms and conditions are governed by the applicable local laws, and any disputes related to these terms will be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent authorities.
    2. Failure to comply with these terms may result in the cancellation of the stay without refund.
  9. Consumer Mediation
    1. In accordance with Articles L612-1 et seq. of the French Consumer Code, the client has the right to refer, free of charge, to a consumer mediator for the amicable resolution of any dispute arising with Mas des Druilles, after having first submitted a written complaint.
    2. In the absence of an amicable agreement or if no response is provided by Mas des Druilles within a reasonable period of one (1) month, the client may, if the dispute persists, refer the matter free of charge to the following mediator:
